Meet Mia Lindberg
Having an education in the arts, working in her field for over forty years, Mia is a studio owner, master potter, metal smith, instructor and teaching artist. Her artwork and accomplishments have been documented in numerous newspaper articles, trade journals and published in Lark Books. Mia works as a teaching artist for public and private schools, museums and Kids at risk for PACE. Workshops and events in the Art of Raku, Sculpture and Studio Pottery, are hosted at her facility and throughout the Tri County area.
In 2017 Mia was voted 'Outstanding Visual Artist' by the Martin County Arts Council. Over fifty years ago, Mia's love of art was nurtured on her family dairy farm in Pennsylvania. The abundant red clay, fauna and flora of rust, verde and moss covered mountain sides helped create her artistic palette.
