WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! A four person show of surprises.  October 1- October 25. Meet the artists at the Opening Reception on Thursday, October 3, 5-8pm.

About the Artists:   Sure to be full of surprises, this special show curated by renowned artist Derek Gores will feature four acclaimed artists who work in collage, relief sculpture, assemblage and jewelry.   The four artists include: Cliffton Chandler, an artist-designer with an architectural background, currently living and working in Orlando. His sculptures use layers of planes and cutouts, paint and inlay, in a wide variety of materials and surface treatments. Most of his work features central themes of human perspective and storytelling through depictions of a personal emotional iconography.   Also, David Burton, from nearby Indialantic will show his works in 3D mixed media assemblage. These works redefine the meaning of found objects into new and mesmerizing compositions. And, Julie Shaw, also presently living in Florida, a nationally recognized jewelry designer, greatly influenced by nature, whose dramatic creations are made with sterling silver, 22k gold, precious and semiprecious stones. And, Derek Gores, curator of the show, who is an internationally acclaimed collage artist using recycles magazines, maps and all sorts of paper in his lush works on canvas. Gores, a frequent exhibitor at Gallery 14 and graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, also exhibits with galleries in Los Angeles, Paris, New England, The Hamptons, Quebec and more. He was honored to exhibit at the Manifest Hope show at the Presidential Inauguration in 2009 and was commissioned by Playboy to create the cover portrait for their Hugh Hefner Tribute Issue.
