Meet Jessica Leto:
Described as "ethereal and haunting," Jessica's abstract work explores the relationships between color and space. The canvas comes alive with intuitive strokes and mark making; experimentation and a willingness to surrender is key. Her work is a direct visual of emotion, experience, reaction, and what ifs.
"As an abstract artist, I embrace the fluidity of intuition, allowing each brushstroke to unfold organically and guide my creative process. Working primarily in acrylics, I integrate the richness of gold leaf to infuse my compositions with a sense of luminosity and depth. My bright, dynamic palettes draw inspiration from the bold aesthetic of the 1980s and 90s, evoking a sense of nostalgia while inviting contemporary interpretations."
Jessica holds a BA in Studio Art from Florida Atlantic University and has a background in graphic design. Originally from Virginia, she is now rooted in Vero Beach, FL. Aside from art and family, her worldly loves are soccer, coffee, and Christmas music.
