Meet Vicki Morrison

Vicki is a Vero Beach, Florida–based artist creating impressionist and abstract mixed-media paintings inspired by the landscape, florals, and botanicals of her surroundings. Her intuitive process combines drawing, collage, acrylic paint, and inks, building and removing layers until she finds the right balance of texture, color, and line.

Vicki began studying art in high school and later attended UCLA before pursuing a career in nursing. She continued making art while working as a Critical Care Nurse and raising her family, eventually earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Long Beach. She continues to develop her practice through ongoing study and mentorship with professional artists.

Her award-winning work has been exhibited in galleries and shows throughout the U.S. and is held in private collections nationwide. Locally, her work has been exhibited and recognized at venues including the Vero Beach Museum of Art.

For Vicki, artistic growth is about more than technique—it is about learning how to truly see.
