Terry Green enjoys making clay sculptural forms with an emphasis on texture and color. Her early works were high-fire stoneware and porcelain wheel-thrown forms. As time went on, her work became more and more influenced by the sub-tropical south Florida area and she began making sculptural forms with an emphasis on texture and color. More recently, her work has focused on large organic spheres glazed in life-affirming, celebratory hues. Her au natural 'sun-pots', coiled in the sunshine and fired unglazed are particularly popular and carry over to a time long ago in Miami when Terry first began to create them on a large scale.
