SILENCE by Joan Earnhart. A piece for quiet time and contemplation. A personal shrine for small meaningful treasures. Metal bird on stand, caged glass receptacle containing black sand with glass flame shaped stopper. Sandwiched leaded clear glass frame with rolled, waxed and tied antique calligraphed paper inside, two black wooden balls, decorative metal leaf items and two antique candlestick holders. The assemblage piece measures 30”h x 26”w x 7”d.
