Retrospective: Work by Viola Pace Knudsen
Gallery 14 is excited to present a very special retrospective of the work of Viola Pace Knudsen, who has been a popular represented artist at Gallery 14 since its inception. This greatly expanded showing of her work, will celebrate her pine needle sculptures and will feature a selection of her acrylic paintings as well. The exhibit, will run from May 3-27.
Southern Lignt: The Masterful Imagery of Reed Dixon
The show will run from March 29 – April 29, with a reception on Friday April 1st, 5-8pm, as part of the First Friday Gallery Stroll. Reed lives and works as a fine artist in Boynton Beach, FL. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he studied graphic design and fine arts at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Besides working as an illustrator for Hallmark Cards, while continuing to paint he spent many years in the advertising business, opening Dixon Graphics in 1977.

Melissa Mastrangelo and Horacio Lertora. The show will run from March 1 – 25 with a reception on Friday March 4th as part of the First Friday Gallery Stroll. Melissa and Horacio, fan favorites at Gallery 14, will be returning once again with their funky, colorful, Florida themed work. Both accomplished artists in their own right, this exhibit will feature collaborations in a current body of work that involves a juxtaposition between Melissa's realism paintings and Horacio's pop art style. Derek Gores Returns with 'Tropicollage'
For Tropicollage, Gores digs deeper into the lore and legacy of the seaside life on the coast of Florida. Look for hidden scraps with sunny cocktail recipes, photos of our local crabs and bird life, matchbook covers from long lost Vero Beach landmarks, and more. His work is a never ending puzzle of discovery, with something new to enjoy at every glance.
Gallery14 Presents VISUAL POETRY
Derek Gores, Cliffton Chandler, Joan Earnhart and Maslow. The show, which will open on November 30th and continue through January 28th, will have two receptions: Friday December 3 and Friday January 7th. Both will be in conjunction with the First Friday Gallery Strolls from 5 to 8pm. According to Derek Gores, curator of the event: “Focus will be on communicating beyond words, beyond intellect and in trusting the dream state.”
